Understanding the Gut-Brain Connection

  • CNM London 25 Percy Circus WC1X 9EU United Kingdom (map)

Eve Kalinik is a CNM qualified nutritional therapist and author. She regularly hosts successful workshops and talks, and published her first book “Be Good to your Gut” in September 2017.

In this talk Eve explains the connection between gut and brain and how balanced nutrition can improve mental well-being.

You will have heard expressions like ‘gut instinct’, ‘gut feeling’ or ‘gut reaction’, but you may not be quite so familiar with just HOW strong a relationship exists between the health of our gut and our mind.

During this insightful evening you will explore some of the foods and factors that help support this process. This could turn your beliefs of what you thought was “all in your head” into the realisation that your gut has much power than you think..

At this event you will learn about:

  • The gut-brain connection - how it works and the role of Nutrition

  • Factors that disrupt this relationship - stress, food and toxins

  • How to support and improve gut and brain health
